Preheat oven to 180°C.
Soak apples in warm water for 30 mins. When soft, drain and finely chop.
Cream butter and sugar in a mixer until pale yellow. Add egg and beat until well combined.
Then remove bowl and stir in apple, flour, oats and sultanas and mix well.
Using a teaspoon, drop balls of mixture on a lightly greased baking tray, allowing room for spreading. Flatten with wet fingertips and cook in oven for about 15 mins, until golden brown. Allow biscuits to cool on tray before serving.
