Carlo's Cheese & Egg Sandwiches

Method:

Spread a little butter on one side of each slice of bread and make sandwiches with the cheese slices.

Melt a little butter with oil in a heavy-bottomed pan and fry the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides.

Then remove and cut out a large round in each sandwich using a pastry cutter.

Return the rounds and outside crusts to the pan. Break an egg into the centre of each cavity, cover the pan with a lid and cook to desired degree.

Decorate a face on each round with tomato sauce and place on top of each cooked egg.

Serve with the tomato sauce bottle on the side.
